I was the ring leader of a large group (19) that included both experienced and very inexperienced riders with a mix of E-Bikes and pedal power only bikes. We were riding a route that was both beautiful and held a bit of sentimental value. I reached out and spoke with Bill at Wheel Wranglers a few months ahead. He and Katie gave me a number of tips that helped a ton. We were in regular contact in advance of the day, they easily dealt with the headache of having to take reservations from individual riders and connecting them with our group. There was only one significant mistake that was made AND I MADE IT! I accidentally deleted two riders from the final list of the bikes that were to be delivered to our starting point. In spite of that, on the morning of the ride, Bill happily ran back to the shop and got those bikes while Katie continued to the outfit and brief the other riders. We have rented excellent full-suspension mtn bikes several times over the years, and they are always in perfect working condition and ready for action. Now spec’d with a 170 fork, this bike is ready for anything you got.
Coming out swinging in 2024 with a longer fork, all new build specs and two remarkable new colors, the Rail29 is hitting well above its weight class. Taking direct feedback from employee and customer ride experiences alike, Revel is giving the Rail29 just what is needs, taking its fork spec from a 160mm to 170mm. More travel means as the ride gets rowdy, this bike comes right back at it wanting more, providing the ultimate confidence at the start line, between the tape, and in the park.
As all Revel color names come to life, the new colors were named at a company-wide, employee brainstorm. Cowboy Coffee takes Revel to the start line of one of their favorite local trails. During the summer months, you’ll find quiet offices at Revel HQ Tuesday evenings while the employees head up to Snowmass Bike Park to race local DH series and ride till dark. The dark black with flashy gold decals pays homage to one of the favorite racecourses, the infamous Cowboy Coffee where relentless rock gardens, massive drops, and blind steeps come together for one rowdy ride. The Flow State name arrived while Revel was cruising the California coast at dawn and later ripping singletrack looking over the Pacific Ocean at dusk. In an environment unlike the Rocky Mountains, Revel found their Flow State in the presence of the ocean and is bringing this intrepid blue frame with black decals in the updated Rail29 to a trail near you.
